WBCSD Leadership Program

The WBCSD’s Leadership Program is a unique professional and leadership development opportunity aiming to provide current and future business leaders with an in-depth understanding of sustainability challenges and opportunities that will feed into their strategic decision-making. It is designed to help leaders in navigating the often complex interdisciplinary topics and concepts that will influence their future, as well as the one of their organizations. In addition to opportunities for face-to-face interaction, the program creates a global network of dynamic business leaders, capable of acting as sustainable development ambassadors both within their companies and in society.

The program 2016 started in January bringing together 34 high potential leaders working together over a ten-month period. In the Netherlands, the mid-term meeting, participants will spend the first day to review the individual projects and summarize key lessons and recommendations. During the rest of the week, the participants will be visiting different companies, interacting with business and sustainability experts. There will also be opportunities for team-building, networking and planning for the next phase of the program.

De Groene Zaak will host the incoming delegation on May 11th at The Hague.
